Google Analytics 4 is used only after you choose Accept analytics. You can decline and still use the property listings. Your choice is saved in a first-party preference cookie for up to six months. Open Analytics settings at any time to change your choice. Declining stops Google Analytics on this browser and removes its first-party analytics cookies; it does not remove events already received by Google.
When accepted, Google Analytics uses browser identifiers and cookies to help recognise first-time and returning browsers, visits, engagement, and device and approximate-location information. We also measure the sections selected, public property listing IDs whose details are opened or source links clicked, and selected suburb, agency, sorting and activity-range filters. We record whether search is used, not the text typed into it.
We do not intentionally send names, emails, phone numbers, free-text searches, or URL query strings to Google Analytics. A browser identifier is not a person's name. Different browsers, devices or cleared cookies can appear as different visitors. Google receives analytics data and may process it outside Australia. Event-level data retention in this Analytics property is set to 14 months.
Cloudflare Web Analytics also provides basic visit, page-view, device, country and performance statistics. This is separate from Google Analytics and does not use analytics cookies to identify returning browsers. See Cloudflare's explanation.
An owner/testing browser can be marked to exclude it from visitor analytics. The exclusion preference is saved in this site's rpw_analytics_exclude cookie for up to one year and applies to both website addresses. It must be set again for a different browser or device, private browsing, or after clearing cookies. Exclusion cannot reliably remove earlier visits already recorded.
No Meta advertising pixel or other social-media retargeting tag is included in this setup. Google advertising signals and advertising personalisation are disabled.
